Welcome to Lakewood Rides. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and our private chauffeur services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the private transportation solutions provided by Lakewood Rides.
• "You" or "User" refers to any individual or entity using our Service or website.
• "Chauffeur" refers to the professional driver provided by Lakewood Rides.
• "Company Car" refers to a premium vehicle owned and maintained by Lakewood Rides, used for the "Our Driver, Our Car" service model.
• "Driver-Only" refers to the "Our Driver, Your Car" service model, where a Lakewood Rides chauffeur drives the User's personal vehicle.

2. Service Models and User Responsibilities

Lakewood Rides offers two distinct service models:

• Our Driver, Our Car: When you book this service, we provide a qualified chauffeur and a company-owned, premium vehicle. Lakewood Rides is responsible for the vehicle's maintenance and insurance.
• Our Driver, Your Car: With this model, we provide a professional chauffeur to drive your personal vehicle. You are solely responsible for the vehicle's roadworthiness, insurance coverage, fuel, and any other operating costs. Our chauffeur will operate the vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws, but we are not liable for mechanical issues, breakdowns, or pre-existing damages to your vehicle.

3. Bookings, Cancellations, and No-Shows

• Booking: All services must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or other agreed-upon communication channels.
• Cancellations: If you need to cancel a reservation, you must do so within a reasonable time frame to avoid a cancellation fee. A cancellation fee of $30 may be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
• No-Shows: If the User is not present at the agreed-upon pick-up location at the scheduled time, the Chauffeur will wait for [Insert Wait Time, e.g., 15 minutes]. After this time, the reservation will be considered a no-show, and you will be charged the full fare.

4. Payment and Billing

You agree to pay all charges for services provided to you, including any applicable tolls, surcharges, or waiting time fees. All payments are due upon completion of the service unless other arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

5. Conduct and Prohibited Use

• You agree to treat our Chauffeurs with respect and courtesy.
• You and all passengers must comply with the chauffeur's instructions regarding safety.
• Smoking, illegal activities, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
• Any damages to our vehicles caused by you or your passengers will be your responsibility, and you will be charged for the cost of repairs.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakewood Rides is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and service marks, is the property of Lakewood Rides and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any of our content without our express written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
